Great Design... not a great product...

I was so excited about this wetbag... I bought two and brought them home! I used them twice each and then threw them in our normal diaper wash (Use Rockin Green detergent). After the wash one of the bag's seams came undone during the wash on the PUL layer. I was so sad and set it aside thinking I could maybe fix it and it was a fluke. Over the next week and a half we used the other bag and two washes later the SAME issue. The PUL layer on both bags have come apart leaving it completely useless. I plan on contacting the company tomorrow about this issue but I feel completely cheated out of $44... 2 weeks of use should not make this product completely fall apart! The perfect non-diaper-bag diaper bag

This may be the best bag I've ever owned. I recently traveled by plane and found it was large enough to accommodate my 13" laptop seven extra diapers + wipes (never know how long you're going to be stuck in the airport) two books (one for me one for my husband) and various other items all without making the bag bulky (though yes it was heavy as you can imagine). Yet the bag is somehow compact enough that I can use it around town *without* all of those items and it doesn't look like I'm carrying a giant empty bag around. Should your child decide he wants *you* to hold his beloved stuffed sheep it'll fit easily inside. For any moms and dads out there returning to school you can fit a textbook (two if they're slim) notebooks folders etc. inside and not worry that it looks like you're using a diaper bag. (FYI when my laptop is inside I find my bulky textbook too big to also fit so I just carry it.)



Perhaps my favorite feature are the two front pockets miraculously large enough to easily slip a sippy cup in and out of (but when empty look just as they do in the picture) thus keeping it upright and spill-free. I also love the two zippered pockets at the top of the bag (I keep my wallet in one of them). I don't use my stroller much anymore (my son is 2 1/2) but I do use the stroller clips on the cart handle at the grocery store. GOOD BAG!

This is my first child hence my first diaper bag. However I read tons of bag reviews and decided on this one for a few reasons.



PROS

1) It's neutral & hubby likes it.

2) It is big but east to tote around.

3) Has several compartments inside pockets & nifty side holes on the outside to put a bottle in or bottled water for myself!

4) Strap is soft & widens out wrapping around you like a sling (you can see in some pics on the manufacturer's website).

5) Easy to clean.



CONS

1) I wish it had more compartments as I'm a huge organization freak.

2) I guess when toting tons of baby stuff around you can't realistically ask for a smaller bag but I do wish it was a bit deeper instead of wide.

Best diaper bag I have found!

I have tried many many diaper bags. It was hard for me to spend anymore money on them especially one that is $80 but i thought i would give it a try. I have a 2 yr. old and an 8 month old so i have to carry 2 sets of diapers 2 change of clothes snacks drinks baby food plus my things wallet phone and many more things. Everything fits in it perfectly and i love that it is very organized! (I hate digging for diapers etc....) Another plus is that i don't find it very heavy. Yes its heavier with ALL the stuff i put in it but for as big as it is its really not that bulky! The only thing i don't like about the bag is that when you set it down it leans to one side (the side with the 3 pockets)! I wish it would just stay upright! Best sleep sack for a toddler!

Before I found out about Grobags I thought the only sleep sack big enough for my tall 17 month old was the Halo which goes up to toddler sizes. I bought this sleep sack after reading about how polyester is not at all breathable plus the Halo fleece sleep sack is not warm enough for winter on the east coast. This Grobag has cotton on the inside and outside which of course is breathable with poly fiber fill on the inside. 2.5 togs is the warmest European rating for a sleep sack. The bag is cozy but not heavy or thick at all - about the thickness of a very light comforter or throw. We keep our house fairly cool at 67 degrees in the winter and my daughter is warm enough in long sleeve cotton pajamas in her Grobag.



The bag has 2 snaps on each shoulder and a zipper along the bottom of one side all the way up to the underarm. If you're more used to the Halo with the zipper up the middle Grobag makes a version like that too.



Another difference between this bag and the Halo is the Grobag doesn't have much extra room in the width around the torso which I like because it doesn't get bunched up in that area. But there's plenty of room in the leg area for the little one to kick around. The Grobag also runs long. The 6-18 month size is about 37" long which is a few inches longer than the 18-24 month Halo. Sure it costs twice as much but it's a good quality bag and the patterns are cheery and cute.



Another tip: when you add the Grobag to your cart double check that the tog rating and the size are what you want. When I was buying mine there was a bug on the site that kept giving me the 1.0 tog version which is a lightweight spring/summer material even though I kept selecting 2.5 togs.More detail ...

Peace of mind for parents and comfort for baby

Initially I used the Halo sleep bags. However these did not work for my little boy. He always seemed to be cold. I also had problems with the zippers opening/failing during the night.



The offending sleep sacs had only been in use for a very short time (maybe a month) before this happened and they hadn't been excessively washed. Caused me concern from a safety standpoint. The company replaced it but I decided to switch to another brand for peace of mind.



I have used Grobags since our baby was about 3 months old. He is 28 months old now. I had to purchase mine from the UK as Amazon didn't stock them back then.



I have probably had at least 10+ of these in different sizes togs and styles and I love them. So does my little boy! He won't sleep without his Grobag sleepsac as he likes being all snuggled up.



The Grobags come with guidelines on room temperatures for the 3 different tog ratings available. So you can be confident that your child will be comfortable. Which means that you will be able to sleep with worrying! For anyone who hasn't come across this before a Tog is the European rating for the warmth value of bedding.



The travel Grobag is a very good investment if you ever have to transfer a sleeping baby from a crib to the car or visa versa. As you don't have to disturb them if you plan ahead.



There are three togs available

0.5 tog (for very warm/hot nurseries)

1.0 tog (summer tog)

2.5 tog (colder nurseries/winter tog)



They wash really well and can be put in the dryer. Haven't had any probmes with the zippers or poppers at all..



Depending on the baby's age they have different opening methods... Some have side zips and others have zips down the front. Combinations of zips and poppers tend to be used for the older babies from approx 6 months on. I think this is mainly to prevent the older babies from being able to open them as they figure things out for themselves.



In my opinion the side opening Grobags tend to work the best as you can do diaper changes in the night without having to disturb them too much.



My little boy is smaller than most kids his age so he is still in the 6-18 months Grobags. Sounds a bit nuts but it gives you some idea of the growing room in these Grobags. They look huge when they move up a size.



Yes they are more pricey than some but you get what you pay for. I only wish Amazon stocked more sizes and togs.... That way I wouldn't have to order from the UK.

This "lifestyle bean bag" chair by American Furniture Alliance is so comfortable that once I sit down in it and begin to relax myself I don't want to get back up again! It's easy in that there's nothing in the way of setup; and the vinyl can be cleaned without too much difficulty. This chair is also so soft and malleable that when you sit down into it the shape of the chair conforms to fit your body instantly making it remarkably comfortable. AVOID "Ultimate Sack" foam chairs. They use scrap foam.

We purchased 2 "ultimate sacks" and have not used them yet as we are airing out the scrap foam. We found hard plastic cardboard rubbery unknown stuff in the shredded foam. It is terrible. Help out anyone you know who is thinking of buying a foam chair do not shop at Ultimate Sacks. terrible.

I purchased two 3' sacs from Cozy Sac for my niece's room that I redecorated. The sacs were delivered earlier than estimated and very easy to set up -- you have to put the cover on the sac. Very big and comfortable

The 7' cozy sac is huge and very comfortable. There is plenty of room for two adults to sit or lay down. It's not for everyone but I love it.



It arrives compressed in a box weighs about 60 lbs. It takes about a day to fully expand before you can use it.



There is inner liner for the filling. The filling springs back to full size after each use. The outer cover is soft easy to clean and machine washable.



The Cozy Sac is good quality not as well made as a LoveSac but the price is way less. Ebay seems to have lower prices than Amazon but you can purchase direct from the manufacturer on Amazon.



Don't underestimate how much room is required it's big!

Well Crafted Large Bean Bag Chair

Bean bag chairs are hard to buy. Some look great at first but then flatten very quickly. I truly believe that you can't buy a cheap chair or you will be disappointed in the long run.



After researching a lot of chairs this seemed to be the best deal. It is a huge chair with a removable cover - a must have for a bean bag chair.



The chair arrives tightly vacuum packed in a 3'x3' box. Instructions for fluffing the chair came by email before shipment and were also packed within the box.



The cover is tightly stitched and made from heavy duty fabric.



The chair will be a Christmas present for my 5 year old daughter. It is probably overkill at the moment in its size but if you are going to invest in a good bean bag chair you might as well get one that they can grow into.



I would caution buyers to be aware that the colors on screen are not necessarily accurate. We purchased the lime green chair and it is a bit more vibrant than the picture.



Other colors will also probably vary. The manufacturers website has the same photos as Amazon so there is no additional information to glean by visiting there. I did call the company and they talked to me a bit about the colors explaining their intensity.



I'll update this after it has been used for awhile. Hopefully it will stand the test of time.

Awesome Bean Bag

This is an awesome beanbag but not at all what I expected. First off it comes vacuum sealed in a bag that makes you think it is fairly small. Don't let that fool you once this sucker is exposed to air and kicked around a bit it's flipping huge. It's so huge that when we squished it into my Honda Civic it blacked out all the rear windows and pressurized the front seats. If I had gotten rear ended driving this thing home; it would of either saved my life or ejected the driver seat through the windshield. It holds an amazing amount of heat making it very comfortable and increasingly easy to want to fall asleep in. It can hold two people pretty easily the lady in the picture must be like 6'6". It has a zipper and it reads as machine washable but I'm not convinced it's double bagged yet as I can't get the zipper open it's pretty small. If there is a cover for this it might be a worthy investment I'd hate to see what would happen if the foam got loose. Pet hair will stick to it like no other but that's to be expected. Overall I'm very happy with it just keep in mind that it will look way bigger in a small apartment then it does at your parent's house. =)More detail ...
